This strategy is a natural extension to our existing in-house research capability and our portfolio construction optimisation process.  Our large research team provides the resources to identify fundamental short ideas.  Moreover, these short positions provide more capital to leverage our long investment ideas.

This greater exposure to our research insights is possible without additional equity market risk and also provides greater stock diversification.

Our fundamental long-short investment strategy typically has very low correlation with quantitative long-short strategies.
